Much to be grateful for & excited for what's to come!

As we come to the end of what can be described as a turbulent year, looking back on 2020 there is much to be grateful for, and excited for what is to come.

As head of sales at Global, leading our team has taught me as much personally as it has brought pleasure in seeing the effort the team has made to deliver the amazing results that we have had.

The reason Global exists is to make your life simple and it has been even more of a challenge to make that happen this year, but it is a challenge we have both met and relished. While business and industries were forced to stop, the maritime world had to carry on regardless in one form or another, whether that was vital cargo ships getting critical PPE and other items around the world, to superyacht crew keeping yachts running and their fellow crew safe. I would like to say a thank you to all the crew who have sacrificed in one way or another. Going for extended periods at sea, spending longer away from your friends and families, and mucking in so that we can all be safe and continue to survive.

The strength of relationships with our friends, customers and suppliers has resulted in us feeling more connected to the maritime industry than ever before and we consider ourselves lucky to call ourselves a part of.

To meet all the challenges we have faced takes a first-class team, committed to delivering all of our values to the thousands of people who choose us to support them. I could not be prouder of the team here at Global and would like to thank them for their effort and desire to make Global the best it can be.

A final thank you must go to the everybody working on the front line to keep us safe. To the men and women of the healthcare sector worldwide, we will forever be in your debt.

Covid-19 will continue to challenge us all in 2021, and with the outcome of Brexit being finalised next year will take all our energy, commitment and skill to navigate, but it is a challenge that we commit taking with you and we will ensure that Global remain the best choice for you.
