Global Services has worked with hundreds of superyacht New Build projects ranging from 40m to 160m plus. We understand the project life-cycle and have refined our New Build service to ensure that you get timely and effective support from the planning stages through to launch:
A Dedicated and Expert Account Manager
Many of our account managers are ex-crew and engineers and are able to offer expert and timely advice as required. We’ll allocate you a dedicated account manager who’ll be your single point of contact, working with you to ensure that advice, quotes and orders are managed accurately and effectively. In short we’re here to make your life simple.
Procurement Service for all Engineering, Deck, Galley and Interior Requirements
Over 18 years supplying the superyacht industry has given us enormous buying power, ensuring that our prices remain competitive. Over the years we’ve built-up an extensive knowledge of each yacht department’s requirements and can provide you with checklists to ensure that nothing is missed.
Real-time Reporting Service
You can request a weekly or monthly real-time report so that you can see exactly what’s been spent for which project/ department or yacht and where your order is: clarity that you can pass onto your clients and integrate with your own tracking and billing system.
From bow to stern, the Global Services New Build project teams create an inventory for all major equipment on board each project, making a comprehensive list of spares and consumables for each yacht department.
Where useful, a photographic record of the equipment nameplate is created for each component part e.g. pump and motor to ensure that when re-ordering spares, the correct part information is to hand.
The information is catalogued and presented in a logical format, listing equipment and related spare parts making the re-ordering process a straight forward procedure. We can also export the information in a format compatible with onboard yacht management systems for example Techman and Idea.

Packing & Labeling
We can pack and even custom label to your requirements allowing relevant information to be displayed, helping you to match goods with your own storage system.
Our standard service ensures that goods are checked, individually labelled and packed in strong cardboard shipping boxes. Many boats choose a packing system that also makes on board storage easier, such as the Zarges
metal packing cases or George Utz

Barcoding & Photo Inventory
We can create unique barcodes for each individual item so that you can reconcile the items delivered with your onboard purchasing system. We can also arrange a data transfer for your onboard planned maintenance system for example IDEA and Techman.
Some yachts require a photo inventory of every item we purchase on their behalf. With our photo imaging software, we can photo-record everything that comes through our warehouse and send a record of it to back to the yacht in a format that can be reconciled with planned maintenance systems.

Not all goods ordered for New Build and refit projects are needed immediately. We’ll store items for you until you are ready to have them shipped allowing you to take advantage of consolidated shipping.
Storing art work, furniture and valuables
We often act as a storage and consolidation point for interior designers who wish to store valuable items securely and in temperature controlled conditions prior to goods being shipped to a new build project. We have the packing and handling expertise and the facilities to deal with everything from priceless artwork to antique furniture.
