Our expansion in the Netherlands continues!
Our expansion in the Netherlands continues, with another team member taken on this year. Jean-Pierre, Antonio and Adilson were joined by Jesse during 2023 and our Dutch hub has gone from strength to strength under the guidance? of Jean-Pierre.
We primarily source all of our goods through the Netherlands now, with the majority of all New Build and Yachting goods coming from the Netherlands and mainland EU. Since Brexit, we have completely streamlined the customs clearance process which means that whilst we have moved most of our purchasing to the Netherlands, we are still able to take advantage of the discounts and relationships we’ve built with our suppliers here in the UK also to ensure that we are providing the best pricing and fastest service possible to our customers.
Our Dutch hub has proved a big success with our crew lounge – available to all of our customers for use! One of the major benefits of our Dutch hub, especially for our New Builds, is that orders can all be consolidated in one place and held in storage until a time as they are ready. We’ve seen a few of our build teams come to visit us in the Netherlands to go through their goods prior to receipt on board – this is entirely optional of course but means that things can be organized into Rako boxes prior to receiving a shipment and all goods checked over to ensure that the correct items are en route! The lounge proves to be a great space for hosting and working alongside this.
