The flights have been booked, the sun cream has been packed and the deck shoes have been worn in. The final countdown to the Monaco Yacht show has begun and we hope you are as excited for it as we are!
The show promises to be bigger than ever with nearly 200 yachts on display and 600 exhibitor stands demonstrating their goods over the three days. There will be a plethora of sea toys, luxury cars, innovative engineering solutions and – of course – Global Services will be there as always.
The Global Services Squad
There will be 3 members of the Global Services team donning the red chinos for MYS this year. The team is a mix of experienced heads and Monaco debutants who you may not have met before. Let’s take a look at who we are:
Account Management (Engineering Specialist)
This will be Fred’s first year at the Monaco Yacht Show having started with Global in January. As an ex-Navy Marine Engineer, Fred has taken to the industry like a duck to water and has already established himself as a valued member of the team. He will be in Monaco for the weeks before and after the show; so if you don’t have time to see us in during the show itself, he will be there when you do!
Assistant Account Manager
Will is the newest member of the global family and is excited to see what MYS can offer. Will combines youthful exuberance with over 8 years of experience in customer service, meaning he will be working tirelessly to make sure all of our customers have the best experience possible with Global.
Richard is a veteran of the superyacht industry and a mainstay of the Monaco Yacht Show itself. Richard started Global Services in his garden shed over 20 years ago and has ably led the company to its current heights today.
Where to find us
We will be sharing a stand with Cathelco (QJ2 in Quai Jarlan) during the days but we will be out and about on the docks throughout the show. Rest-assured that we will be networking in the bars every night too, it’s a tough job but someone has to do it.
We hope all your preparations for the show are going well, and we look forward to seeing you all next week!
